In April, Chemlink Specialties joined Harke Pharma at Making Pharmaceuticals UK 2023, the leading UK pharmaceutical exhibition & conference. This year the event was held in Coventry and provided an excellent platform to bring together a wide range of exhibitors and delegates from across the pharmaceutical industry to discuss, showcase and learn about all things pharma.

What is Making Pharmaceuticals UK?
Making Pharmaceuticals UK is an annual two-day event, which is free to attend for those working in and across the pharmaceutical industry. The event features exhibition stands, workshops and talks on a huge range of topics associated with the industry including (but not limited to);

- Regulation
- Clinical Testing
- Research & Development
- Operational Excellence
Delegates have the opportunity to meet and network with over 100 different companies who exhibit at the event, with the chance to attend both workshops and speaking sessions from experts.
For exhibitors, it’s an annual opportunity to showcase their latest work and research but also to gain valuable insights on updated practices, regulation and advancements in the field.
Exhibiting at Making Pharmaceuticals UK 2023
This year, Harke Pharma exhibited at the event joined by Chemlink Specialities and other members of the Harke Group. Delegates were able to visit the team at stand 509, which was set up to include ingredient desks to showcase four key areas. These areas included:
- Silicone Dioxide Replacement
- Rheology Modifiers
- Titanium Dioxide Alternatives
- Solubility Enhancement
The team also presented a series of live demonstrations across the two days which received a lot of interest. In addition to viewing these live demos, delegates got the chance to try some homemade fudge while engaging with the team about the wide range of available pharmaceutical ingredients and their applications.
